First Snow.

There is something about the first snow of the season that is completely magical.

Watching the snowflakes slowly drift down
is mesmerizing. It's difficult to take my eyes off of it.

The kids are captivated. They keep running to the window and reporting.

Little noses pressed against the glass.

"What is the snow coming from?" my three-year-old asks.

Shouts of "it's coming down harder!" ring through the house. "Come and see! It's snowing everywhere!"

Sighs of contentment. Overheard: "I wish it would snow everyday."

All thoughts of the inconveniences that result from snow aren't even entering my consciousness right now. I'm just soaking in the magic of the experience.

Love it! You've managed to capture the excitement and wonder that kids feel when it snows for the first time :) Lovely pictures Heidi!
