St. Lucia
Did it! Stayed up and got 'em done. I thought St. Lucia was absolutely beautiful. The port was amazing ~ the ship actually docked in a type of marina ~ there were gorgeous views no matter which way you looked. We spent the morning walking around the town, visiting the nearby market and shopping for souveniers, and taking lots of pictures (of course!) before heading up into the rainforest to go ziplining. Now THAT is FUN!! We finished our day off at the beach for a short time before ... yep, you guessed it ... getting back on 'da boat.
Does this view look familiar? Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest was filmed here. We actually saw the ship "The Black Pearl" right when we came in that morning, but didn't manage to get a picture. Grrr. We went looking for it again that afternoon and it must have been out sailing.
Getting ready to go on the zip line:
My husband Derek waaaay in the distance in the rain forest!
And pulling himself in when he came up short on one of the lines:
One last look at St. Lucia as we were departing!

Busy gal, huh? Love the first one. You are going to have a whole new slew of pictures to put up in your office when everything is edited!

I just love the places you visited on this cruise...we need to try the Southern trip next time, the Western cruise was super fun but totally different ports.
