Hospital Stay

We weren't even in the hospital for a full 23 hours ~ it was a whirlwind visit, that's for sure! But I did try to document our short stay with as many pictures as possible of my cute little guy.













The afternoon was packed full ~ with visits from pediatrics, hearing screening, his circumcision, shots, and his PKU (which they lost and we had to redo a few days later!). Everyone seemed to want to get in and get their portion done at the same time ~ it was a constant stream of people for a couple of hours.





Finally my most important visitors arrived: The 4 other kiddos coming to meet their new brother. I loved watching how excited they were to come in and meet him. They were all so sweet and gentle ~ examining him from top to bottom. They were particularly fascinated with his little wrinkly feet :).














Around 4:00 that afternoon they announced they were ready to discharge us. I wasn't sure I was ready to leave! But ready or not, we loaded up our belongings and headed home as a family of SEVEN!
