St. Martin/St. Maarten

St. Martin was a fascinating island. It is actually owned by two different nations. Half of the island is Dutch and the other half is French. We had fun exploring both sides!

Some of my favorite pics include watching the planes come in on Maho Beach on the Dutch side, eating yummy pastries and sandwiches at Sarafina's on the French side, and visiting the absolutely gorgeous Orient Beach. The day went way too quickly. I could definitely revisit this island and stay for several days!

And one random picture ... shot with the underwater camera ... held close to the water ... not even knowing what I was taking a picture of ... and I think it turned out very cool!:
