Stevens Family
Get ready for picture overload. Because I had the hardest time narrowing which pictures I wanted to show on the blog. I had so many favorites.
The day we were supposed to shoot was cloudy ... and dreary ... like the weather in Seattle has been ... forever, it seems. But that wasn't a problem. I called the family and asked if they wanted to shoot a little earlier, because the clouds were getting heavy. They were ready to go, so I told them I would meet them at our location in 15 minutes. Went to put my shoes on, went to put my gear in the car, and there was an absolute DOWNPOUR unleashed. Seriously some of the fattest raindrops I have ever seen. Everything was soaked in seconds. It was a bit freaky, in fact. Hurry and call the family back to say, "umm ... never mind?!" A half hour later ... BEAUTIFUL, gorgeous-colored skies emerged that had been hiding behind those clouds. But at that point everything was muddy and wet, and we had already rescheduled for a couple of days later. What a crazy memory!
And yes ... you might see ... that I edited several of these (okay a LOT of these) with a vintage-feel. Because you can't exactly shoot in downtown Snohomish ~ which is the antique capital of the Northwest ~ without getting a little vintage-y! (I still do a "traditional" edit first, that I show my families as well, in case they aren't feeling like heavily-processed pictures, but I really like showing off some fun edits!)
Okay ... enough chattering now ... on to the PICS!

Your fave is my fave! I'm sure they will love them.
Love the ones of mom and daughter......that little girl is a cutie! The vintage edits really work well for the locations!
Wow, those turned out great!! I missed seeing them while we were in Disneyland. I love the ones against the shutters with the ivy on the wall. Great backgrounds. They are a great family, and that Katie is so cute!
Great pictures, as always. Haven't seen any nicer portraits since long. I like them all, but the father & son pictures atnd out, your favorite as well, and the last B%W of the girl is priceless...

Wolfgang
